ERASMUS + MOBILITY FOR INTERNSHIP: WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Erasmus + is the European Union Program in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020 which supports the international mobility of students and future graduates to the countries participating in the Program (cf. art.1.4), with the aim of improving the level of transversal and professional skills, with particular attention to their relevance for the labor market and their contribution to the creation of a cohesive society. Erasmus + for Traineeship grants are awarded for carrying out the following activities at a foreign host institution: A) training and professional orientation internships B) curricular internships DURATION The internship abroad can last from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months. With Erasmus + you can spend more stays abroad, both as a student and as a trainee, but the total period spent abroad (including study periods) cannot exceed 12 months in a study cycle. By "cycle" we mean the level of studies defined by the European Qualifications Framework (EQF): - first cycle (three-year degree or equivalent) QEQ 5/6; - second cycle (master's degree or equivalent) EQF 7; - third cycle (doctorate or equivalent) QEQ 8; For "one cycle" courses, such as eg. architecture or medicine, you can go abroad with the Erasmus + program for 24 months. You can do an internship abroad even as a recent graduate. In this case, you must complete the internship within one year of graduation and you must apply while you are still enrolled at the university. WHY ASK FOR ERASMUS + TRAINEESHIP IN IC Bologna?
